This website is currently under development. The sections on each page are being refined and the resources are continually being created and uploaded. Even in this form we have made the site live so colleagues can preview the work and see what it will offer them.
This website supports leaders in schools as they seek to develop those who work with children and young people. It has been designed to support training for school leaders but can also be used as a standalone resource. If you are interested in CPD Leaders training take the Development Team link on this page.
The fundamental principle adopted by the East Midlands CPD Partnership and its work is that schools will only improve and develop as the people who work within them are doing so themselves – ie developing schools through developing people.
The sections of the site encompass the key aspects that need to be considered and developed. Each section contains the following features:

NB Resources within this site may use the terms CPD (Continuing Professional Development) and Workforce Development almost inter-changeably. No particular distinction is intended by this inconsistency – it simply reflects a rapidly changing world!
